Project Overview:
Ridgeway will be partnering with Bedford Community Church as well as Hillside Alliance Church. The organization we are working with is called AIM (Adventures in Missions). AIM partners with World Impact share Christ with the urban poor of the area. Teams also do children’s ministry in the projects and parks, and at the base, and various other outreach events and light construction projects. The people are hungry for Truth and looking for hope in the midst of the poverty that surrounds them. You’re a world away from the comforts of home, without ever leaving the United States.
Ministry Description:
Prayer and evangelism will happen in local neighborhoods, parks and housing projects. Other ministry opportunities include participating in a local church service, painting and repairing the ministry center, caring for homeless people, sports evangelism and special children’s programs. AIM maintains a strong emphasis on building relationships with the local population. Puppet ministry and dramas have been very effective in reaching the children of Newark.
Trip Requirements: (LEVEL 1)
Students must…
1. Have accepted Jesus as Savior and have a living, personal relationship with Him.

Food is prepared on site. Bedding and towels are not provided.
